Tagore & We 2

After the stupendous success of “Tagore & We” in 2011, Asha Audio has come up with “Tagore & We 2”, which is an unique conceptual album featuring Sunidhi Chauhan for the first time in Tagore rendition along with Soumyoji. Sourendro on Piano and Stoppok on Guitars are absolutely on the rocks. The versatile Sunidhi Chauhan in her mellifluous voice has done true justice and is outstanding in her singing of the Tagore songs. The entire album has a very special sound scape collaborating Rabindrasangeet with 'Khamaj Thumri' in the song “Shei Bhalo, Shei Bhalo”, with Beethoven in the song “Tomae Gaan Shonabo” and with “Chaiti” in the song "Megh Bolechhe", which depicts the true “World Music” concept. Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, Shri MK Narayanan unveiled the album at an event commemorating World Music Day at GD Birla Sabhaghar, Kolkata. This album has been Conceptualized, Conceived and Designed by the talented duo Sourendro and Soumyojit. Stefan Stoppok needs a very special mention for his contribution on guitars and drums. The very talented Srabani Sen in the duet song "Mone Ki Dwidha" with Soumyojit is outstanding.

 The album consists of 8 songs. The songs include Ektuku Chhoya Laage, Sei Bhalo Sei Bhalo, Tomaye Gaan Sonabo, Sokatore Oi Kaandichhe, Megh Bolechhe Jabo Jabo, Bidhir Bandhon & Sunalo Sunalo Balika, Mone Ki Dwidha.
